# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • It's the rare mocktail that actually tastes like an indulgence, not a compromise.
  • You can make it in under 10 minutes but people swear it tastes like you've been planning it for days.
  • Works for literally anyone at your table—vegan friends, people avoiding alcohol, kids who want to feel fancy.
02 -
  • If you add the sparkling water too early, it goes flat within 30 minutes—every time, without fail, which I learned the expensive way during a lunch I wanted to impress.
  • Fresh juice really does taste completely different from bottled, and if someone tells you it doesn't, they probably haven't tried it side by side.
03 -
  • Make the fruit-and-mint mixture a few hours ahead if you're hosting—the actual assembly takes 2 minutes once your guests arrive.
  • Freeze some of the sangria in ice cube trays and use those instead of regular ice so your drink doesn't get diluted as everything melts.
